KUCHING: KKB Engineering Bhd has reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare with a corporate social responsibility (CSR) contribution to the Petra Jaya Welfare Association.
The handover, witnessed by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, took place during a courtesy call by KKB’s delegation to the Kompleks Satria Pertiwi here today.
Executive Chairman Datuk Seri Kho Kak Beng led the visit, which also served as an opportunity to convey condolences to the Premier over the recent passing of his wife, the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang.
Receiving the contribution on behalf of the association was Vice-Chairman Datuk Abang Shamshudin Abang Seruji.
KKB Engineering Bhd, listed on Bursa Malaysia since 1994, has been actively supporting the community through CSR programmes in education, healthcare and welfare.
These efforts are carried out consistently each year as part of the company’s pledge to give back to society.
Also present were KKB Group Managing Director, Kho Pok Tong, and Petra Jaya Welfare Association Vice-Chairman II, Dr Ismail Drahman.
The courtesy call was one of two received by the Premier, with the other involving a Cambodian government delegation exploring cooperation in agriculture, trade and education.
